Xinzhuang Baseball Stadium, located in New Taipei City, debuted in 1997 and hosted games at the International Baseball Federation (IBAF) World Cup 10 years later. The four-team Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL), which began in 1989 and is Taiwan's elite professional league, plays some of its contests there.
