Every season, Rangers Captain invites his fellow mascots from around Major League Baseball to come throw down with him at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. The 2009 roster included T.C., the bear from the Twins, Fredbird of the Cardinals, Screech, the eagle from the Nationals, Junction Jack the Astros' jackrabbit, and the Mariner Moose. Frivolity ensued, as this video documents.

Rangers Captain hoofed it down to Houston recently to watch his Rangers and talk shop with his colleague Junction Jack, the Astros' mascot. It proved a great trip, as the boys from Arlington swept the series and the mascot met lots of Rangers fans who also made the journey. Junction Jack, the Astros' mascot, visited Rangers Captain for the Arlington portion of the Lone Star Series. While he had to leave without the Silver Boot, the big jackrabbit had a good time at Rangers Ballpark. He even helped deliver a very special message, as you'll see in the video.

Rangers Captain recently lent his expertise in exciting fans to Fort Worth Country Day School's homecoming pep rally. He helped the Falcons get fired up for the big game. He had fun with the school mascot, danced with the dance team, and even tried to direct the band.

Kids from the Lena Pope Home joined Rangers Captain on the Texas Rangers float for the 2009 Fort Worth Lights Parade. The group even got a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus before the parade.
