TICKET EXCHANGE PROGRAM

A benefit of being a Mets Ticket Holder is the opportunity to exchange future and unused games. The following highlights important policies from our 2016 Ticket Exchange Program:


FUTURE GAME GUIDELINES:

  • Available at the Advance Ticket Windows outside Citi Field and on Field Level concourse, or online via your My Mets Ticket account
  • Exchanges are not available over the phone or by mail
  • Via your My Mets Tickets account, to exchange future game tickets, you must forward your tickets to ticket_exchanges@nymets.com
  • Only tickets from the original season or plan package may be exchanged
  • All exchange requests are subject to availability and dates and guidelines are subject to change
  • There is no limit to the number of future game exchanges you may transact
  • Tickets for exchange may be limited for certain games based on availability
  • Future game exchanges must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the start of the game
  • There is a maximum of six (6) tickets per game per exchange transaction
  • Tickets may only be exchanged at a one-to-one ratio
  • Tickets need to be returned in order to process and reissue the new tickets. You may return tickets electronically via your My Mets Tickets account or return the hard tickets in person at the Advance Ticket Windows
  • Once a game is exchanged, the tickets may not be exchanged again
  • Ticket Plan must be paid in full and may not have a balance due to take advantage of program

  • If tickets are exchanged for tickets in the same game category, there will be no charge
  • If tickets are exchanged for tickets in a higher game category, the customer will be responsible for paying the difference at the plan holder price for Classic, Value and Super Value games
  • If tickets are exchanged for tickets in a lesser game category, the customer will not be refunded the difference and a credit will not be added to the account
  • You can exchange a Marquee game for a different Marquee game or a Premium game for a different Premium game
  • You cannot exchange a non-Marquee ticket for a Marquee game or a non-Premium ticket for a Premium game
  • Seating Categories
  • Tickets will be exchanged for tickets in the same seating category
  • If tickets are not available in the original seating category, exchanged tickets will be placed in the next available lower priced seating category
  • If tickets are exchanged for tickets in a higher priced seating category, the customer will be responsible for paying the difference at the plan holder price
  • If tickets are exchanged for tickets in a lesser priced seating category, the customer will not be refunded the difference and a credit will not be added to the account
  • Hyundai Club tickets can be exchanged for Hyundai Club tickets to a new game.
  • If you do not have a Hyundai Club ticket, you cannot exchange for a ticket into the Hyundai Club

HOW TO EXCHANGE YOUR "FUTURE" GAME TICKETS VIA YOUR MY METS TICKET ACCOUNT

  • To access your account, go to Mets.com 'Click on Tickets' Scroll to My Mets Tickets
  • Enter your account number and password
  • If you have forgotten your password, please click the button to reset your password, and a new password will be emailed to the email address on file for your account
  • On the "My Ticket Inventory" tab, add ticket_exchanges@nymets.com as a "New Friend" in your My Tickets Account. You will only need to do this for your first exchange
  • Select "Forward Tickets" from the "Ticket Action" dropdown menu
  • Select the eligible tickets you wish to exchange
  • After your tickets have been selected, click ticket_exchanges@nymets.com from the "Your Friend" column as the recipient for these tickets
  • On the review screen, in the "Note to your friend(s)" field, enter the game date(s) for the game(s) in which you are looking to exchange into, along with any other instructions
  • Click "Forward Tickets". Your exchange will be processed in two (2) business days. Your new tickets will be emailed to the email address on file

PAST GAME GUIDELINES:

  • Available at the Advance Ticket Windows outside Citi Field and on Field Level concourse and by mail only to: New York Mets, Citi Field (120-01 Roosevelt Ave), Flushing, NY 11368 - Attn: Ticket Services
  • Exchanges are not available by phone
  • All exchange requests are subject to availability and dates and guidelines are subject to change
  • Tickets may only be exchanged for Monday through Thursday games, excluding Marquee and Premium games
  • Only tickets from the original season or plan package can be exchanged
  • There is a maximum of six (6) tickets per game per exchange transaction
  • Tickets may only be exchanged at a one-to-one ratio
  • Hard tickets need to be returned in order to process and reissue the new tickets
  • Tickets may only be exchanged once the game has been played; once a game is exchanged, the tickets may not be exchanged again
  • The last game available for which you may exchange a past/unused game ticket is August 31, 2016
  • Ticket Plan must be paid in full and may not have a balance due remaining to take advantage of program
  • Unused tickets must be received by the Ticket Office no later than 48 hours prior to the new game date
  • Unused parking passes are not eligible to be exchanged

  • If unused tickets are exchanged for tickets in the same game category, there will be no charge
  • If unused tickets are exchanged for tickets in a higher game category, the customer will be responsible for paying the difference at the plan holder price
  • If unused tickets are exchanged for tickets in a lesser game category, the customer will not be refunded the difference
  • Tickets cannot be exchanged for Marquee or Premium games
  • Seating Categories
  • Unused tickets will be exchanged for tickets in the same seating category
  • If tickets are not available in the original seating category, exchanged tickets will be placed in the next available lower priced seating category
  • Hyundai Club tickets from a past game cannot be exchanged for Hyundai Club tickets to a new game. A different seating category will be assigned
  • You cannot exchange an unused ticket for a Hyundai Club ticket
