Minnesota put together a six-run first inning to knock out Milwaukee's starter, and a five-run fourth sealed the win at Miller Park. Michael Cuddyer, Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau had five, four and three RBIs, respectively, and Scott Baker earned the win.

Ben Hendrickson was pulled from the game before he could record an out, giving up six runs in the first inning. Geoff Jenkins, Bill Hall, Corey Koskie and Rickie Weeks homered, knocking in eight runs, but it wasn't enough to close the big gap.
