Twins trade Correia to Dodgers for a player to be named later or cash
Twins to Recall Tommy Milone from Triple-A

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN - The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have traded Kevin Correia to the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations.
In 23 starts with the Twins this season, Correia went 5-13 with a 4.94 ERA (129.1 IP, 71 ER), 61 strikeouts and 32 walks. Since signing with the Twins prior to the 2013 season, Correia made 54 starts going 14-26 with a 4.49 ERA (314.2 IP, 157 ER) while recording 30 quality starts.
To replace Correia on the 25-man roster, the Twins plan to recall left-handed pitcher Tommy Milone from Triple-A Rochester and start him Monday night in Houston. Milone, who was recently acquired via trade from Oakland, made one start for the Red Wings on August 5, tossing 7.0 innings allowing just one run on six hits. The 27-year-old Milone, has appeared in 80 career games (78 starts) with Washington and Oakland from 2011-2014, going 32-22 while recording a 3.84 ERA (468.2 IP, 200 ER) with 339 strikeouts and just 105 walks. Milone will wear uniform number 49.
