Gardenhire not promoting change
Twins skipper would welcome additions, not aching for them

With the July 31 non-waiver Trade Deadline fast approaching, manager Ron Gardenhire isn't overly eager to swap out any of his players, leaving those decisions up to the front office.
"I just run the ballclub," Gardenhire said. "We're a half a game out of first place, and we haven't done anything. If upstairs they can come up with something that makes us a better baseball team, then they can come up with something."
Gardenhire said there have been discussions about either adding a setup man to replace the injured Pat Neshek or a right-handed bat to bolster the lineup.
"If they do something and you can get someone who can really help us set up to take the place of Neshek, that would be great," Gardenhire said. "Or if they can go and find a big right-handed bat that would fit in my lineup, all of those things would be great.
"I can only control what I have in this clubhouse, and we're going to play with these guys and play as hard as we can."
