Twins claim two players off waivers
tickets for any Major League Baseball game

The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have claimed left-handed pitcher Matt Maloney off waivers from the Cincinnati Reds and right-handed pitcher Jeff Gray off waivers from the Seattle Mariners.

Maloney, 27, made eight appearances (two starts) for the Reds, going 0-3, 9.16 ERA (18.2 ip, 19 er) with four walks and 13 strikeouts. He also made 14 appearances (13 starts) for Triple-A Louisville, going 7-1, 2.99 ERA (81.1 ip, 27 er) with 11 walks and 51 strikeouts.

Gray, 29, made six appearances with the Chicago White Sox, going 0-0, 2.70 ERA (13.1 ip, 4 er) with four walks and seven strikeouts, before being claimed off waivers by Seattle on May 13. He made 24 appearances for the Mariners, going 0-1, 4.89 ERA (35.0 ip, 19 er) with 17 walks and 16 strikeouts.
