The Oakland A's have released left-handed pitcher Bobby Cramer, the club announced today.
Cramer, who was designated for assignment July 1, made the A's Opening Day roster and was 0-1 with a 1.08 ERA in five relief appearances over three stints with Oakland.
The 31-year-old Anaheim, Calif. native had posted a 4.03 ERA in six starts with Sacramento before being placed on the River Cats disabled list June 14 with a sciatic nerve irritation in his back.
