The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled catcher Wilson Ramos from Triple-A Rochester. In 16 games with the Red Wings, Ramos batted .179 (12-for-67) with one double, three home runs and eight rbi. He will wear uniform number 44.
To make room for Ramos on the 25-man roster, the Twins have placed right-handed pitcher Pat Neshek on the 15-day disabled list (retroactive to April 29) with inflammation of the middle finger on his right hand.
