The American League Central Division Champion Minnesota Twins and the StarTribune announced plans today for the return of the popular Homer Hanky(TM) in time for the team's push toward another World Series Championship.

A hallmark of the Twins 1987 and 1991 championship seasons as well as the 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2006 postseasons, the Homer Hanky will be available for purchase at all Twins Pro Shops, the Twins ticket office at the Metrodome and at all postseason home games, beginning today, Wednesday, Oct. 7.

Homer Hankies will be sold for $2 at the Twins Pro Shops in Roseville, Apple Valley and Minnetonka, at the Metrodome ticket office and in the Metrodome concourses during postseason games (while supplies last). A portion of the proceeds raised through Homer Hankies will be donated to the Minnesota Twins Community Fund, which enriches local and regional communities by providing resources for the healthy development of children and families through an association with baseball, softball and the Minnesota Twins.
