MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Twins announced after tonight's game that they will place lefthanded pitcher Francisco Liriano on the 15-day disabled list tomorrow with left arm fatigue.
To replace Liriano on the 25-man roster, the Twins will select the contract of righthanded pitcher Philip Humber from Triple-A Rochester. Humber was 7-7, 5.28 (109.0 ip, 64 er) in 21 games (20 starts) for the Red Wings. Humber, who made the Twins Opening Day roster, is expected to be in Texas for tomorrow night's game and will wear uniform number 38.
The Twins will make an additionally move to create a spot on the 40-man roster for Humber prior to tomorrow night's game with the Rangers.
