Twins designate infielder Mike Lamb
tickets for any Major League Baseball game

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have designated infielder Mike Lamb for release or assignment, creating room on the 25-man roster for lefthanded pitcher Eddie Guardado.

Lamb, 33, batted .233 (55-for-236) with 12 doubles, three triples, one home run and 32 rbi in 81 games for the Twins this season.

Guardado is expected to be in uniform for tonight's game at Seattle and will wear uniform number 18.
