TwinsFest 2007 set for Jan. 26-28
More than 50 current, former and future Twins are scheduled to appear; TwinsFest proceeds benefit the Twins Community Fund
MINNEAPOLIS - ST. PAUL -- The Minnesota Twins have announced plans for TwinsFest 2007, scheduled for Friday, Jan. 26 through Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, at the Metrodome. More than 50 current, former and future Twins players will appear throughout the course of the weekend. A complete list of players attending will be released in the coming weeks.
TwinsFest is an annual fundraiser for the Twins Community Fund. Since its inception in 1989, TwinsFest has raised more than $3 million for programs and organizations supported by the Twins
TwinsFest will provide fans their first opportunity to purchase single-game tickets to Twins home games during the 2007 season. In addition to the single-game on-sale, fans attending TwinsFest can visit the Twins Ticket Center for complete information on season and group tickets. Other event highlights include tours of the Twins' clubhouse, the Upper Midwest's largest baseball card and collectibles extravaganza, information about the new Twins ballpark, the "Down on the Farm" exhibit featuring the Twins' Minor League affiliates, live and silent auctions, Kids-Player Q & A
sessions, player photo stations, a baseball skills area and youth baseball clinics.
All paid admissions to TwinsFest will include a free Upper Club ticket for a 2007 regular season home game (game restrictions will apply).
TwinsFest admission prices are $8 in advance for adults ($10 at the door) and $3 in advance for children 14 and under ($5 at the door). Tickets for TwinsFest 2007 will go on sale in the coming
