MINNEAPOLIS - ST. PAUL -- Minnesota Twins pitcher Brad Radke and his wife Heather have dedicated $35,000 to the Youth Performance Company of Minneapolis to underwrite the costs associated with a local children's musical that begins a 17-day run on Friday, April 30.

"Free to Be, You and Me" is the final presentation of the 15th Anniversary Season for the Youth Performance Company, with performances running from Friday, April 30 through Sunday, May 16 at the Howard Conn Fine Arts Center in Minneapolis.

The mission of the Brad & Heather Radke Family Foundation is to provide financial support to nonprofit organizations working to enhance the lives of children and families. This year's sponsorship of the Youth Performance Company shows the continued commitment the Radke family has for the Twin Cities community.

The musical is a creation of Marlo Thomas that, instead of telling children who they should be, would open them up to the possibilities of whom they could be. For more information on "Free to Be, You and Me" please visit the Youth Performance Company website at www.youthperformanceco.com, or call 612-623-9080 for show times and reservations.
