  • Rockies select contract of LHP Pedro Hernandez

    The Colorado Rockies announced today that the club has selected the contract of left-handed pitcher Pedro Hernandez from Triple-A Colorado Springs.

  • Rockies recall RHP Rob Scahill from Triple-A Colorado Springs

    The Colorado Rockies announced today that the club has recalled right-handed pitcher Rob Scahill from Triple-A Colorado Springs and optioned infielder Cristhian Adames. Scahill (#62) will be available tonight for the Rockies against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field (6:05 p.m. MT).

  • Rockies activate Morneau, Logan from 15-day DL; recall Adames from Triple-A

    The Colorado Rockies announced today that the club has activated infielder Justin Morneau and left-handed pitcher Boone Logan from the 15-day disabled list. In addition they have recalled infielder Cristhian Adames from Triple-A Colorado Springs. To create room on the active roster, the club has optioned infielder Ben Paulsen and right-handed pitchers Brooks Brown and Chad Bettis. Morneau, Logan and Adames (#10) will be available tonight for the Rockies against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field (6:05 p.m. MT).

  • Rockies place Tulowitzki on disabled list

    The Colorado Rockies announced today that the club has placed infielder Troy Tulowitzki on the 15-day disabled list (retroactive to July 20) and have recalled left-handed pitcher Yohan Flande from Triple-A Colorado Springs. Flande (#58) is scheduled to start for the Rockies in tonight's game against the Nationals at Coors Field (6:40 p.m. MT).

  • Rockies place INF Justin Morneau on the 15-day disabled list

    The Colorado Rockies announced today that the club has placed infielder Justin Morneau on the 15-day disabled list (retroactive to July 14).

  • Rockies activate LHP Brett Anderson from the disabled list

    The Colorado Rockies announced today that the club has activated left-handed pitcher Brett Anderson from the 60-day disabled list. To make room on the active roster for Anderson, the Rockies optioned infielder/outfielder Kyle Parker to Triple-A, a move that occurred following Saturday's game against Minnesota

  • Rockies activate OF Carlos Gonzalez from DL

    The Colorado Rockies announced today that the club has activated outfielder Carlos Gonzalez from the 15-day disabled list.

  • Rockies Recall INF/OF Kyle Parker from Triple-A Colorado Springs

    The Colorado Rockies announced today that the club has recalled infielder/outfielder Kyle Parker from Triple-A Colorado Springs and optioned left-handed pitcher Yohan Flande to Triple-A Colorado Springs. Parker (#16) will be available for the Rockies in tonight's game against the Padres at Coors Field (6:40 p.m. MT).

    The Colorado Rockies and the Cleveland Indians have teamed up to make sure Rockies first baseman Justin Morneau and Indians starter Corey Kluber make it to the 2014 MLB All-Star Game in Minneapolis on July 15 through Major League Baseball's All-Star Final Vote.
