Red Sox and right-handed pitcher Alexi Ogando agree to one-year contract
The Boston Red Sox today signed former All-Star right-handed pitcher Alexi Ogando to a one-year contract through the 2015 season. To make room for him on the 40-man roster, left-handed pitcher Drake Britton was designated for assignment.
Red Sox Agree to Terms with OF/1B Daniel Nava on One-Year Contract
The Boston Red Sox today agreed to terms with outfielder/first baseman Daniel Nava on a one-year, non-guaranteed contract for the 2015 season, thus avoiding salary arbitration. Terms were not disclosed.
