Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have placed right-handed pitcher Nick Blackburn on the 15-day disabled list with a left quad strain.

As announced last night, outfielder Ben Revere has been recalled from Triple-A Rochester in time for today’s game. 

After receiving favorable medical results on catcher Ryan Doumit following last night’s game, the Twins have decided to keep him on the active 25-man roster.
