As a whole, Minnesota's 4.65 ERA was respectable but not great among teams in the Division Series. But of the 21 earned runs Twins pitching allowed in four games, nearly half -- nine runs -- came from the bullpen. While Twins starters allowed 12, half came from Carlos Silva in Game 3.

By comparison, Yankees relievers gave up six of the 17 runs New York allowed total for the series. Two runs each came from Tom Gordon, Tanyon Sturtze and Felix Heredia.
