The Twins backed up ace Johan Santana by turning a postseason record five double plays against the Yankees in Game 1 of the ALDS on Tuesday night.
Twelve teams had hit into four double plays in postseason play in Major League history -- the Braves in the 1995 NLDS, the Astros in the 2001 NLDS and the Angels in the 2002 ALDS.
