MLB Network Studio Analyst

Al Leiter, a 19-year Major League veteran, is an Emmy-nominated MLB Network analyst, regularly appearing on MLB Tonight and special event coverage.

In 2010 and 2011, Leiter was nominated for a Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Sports Personality by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Leiter also serves as a color commentator for YES Network's Yankees broadcasts and previously worked as a postseason game analyst for ESPN and FOX Sports.

Leiter was drafted by the Yankees and debuted with the club in 1987. He would go on to pitch for the Blue Jays (1989-95), Marlins (1996-97 and 2005) and Mets (1998-2004) before retiring as a Yankee in 2005 with a 162-132 record and 3.80 ERA. Leiter won the World Series rings with the Blue Jays (1993) and Marlins (1997) and was an NL All-Star in 1996 and 2000. He was also the first pitcher to earn a victory against all 30 Major League teams. Leiter received the Roberto Clemente Award in 2000 for his community service and philanthropic efforts.
