Metrodome Security
Fans should be advised of the following security measures in place for the Metrodome.
- •Purses and diaper bags will be allowed in the arenas or stadiums,
but will be inspected at all entrance gates.
- Large bags, coolers and large backpacks will not be allowed in the
arenas or stadiums.
- •No containers, bottles or cans will be permitted.
- •Patrons are asked to have their coat or jacket opened and prepared
to have them visually inspected prior to entering the venue.
- •Fans are encouraged to arrive as early as possible for events, thus
allowing themselves ample time to enter the arena.
In addition, all vendors, stadium employees, media and athletes will be
searched and their bags will be inspected prior to entering the arena and
all facilities will be thoroughly inspected by security personnel prior to
the doors opening to the general public.
