For over forty years, the Minnesota Twins have been a summer pastime of residents of the Upper Midwest. More than just passing fans, Twins supporters have experienced the thrill of World Series Championships in 1987 and 1991, as well as the most recent success of an emotional and exciting return to the American League Championship Series 2002 and winning three straight American League Central Division Championships The resurgence of the team prompted ESPN The Magazine to refer to the Twins as, "The Team that Saved Baseball."

In a variety of ways, the Minnesota Twins touch the lives of their fans through their unique ability to engage them with the team and their players. Twins baseball has a rich history of incorporating family entertainment and community purpose. Whether through exciting on-field action, or countless charitable and community programs, Twins fans have become connected with the team they love.

The Minnesota Twins stand poised to capitalize on their recent success by remaining a competitive force in the American League for the foreseeable future. After gleaning such awards as Executive of the Year (General Manager Terry Ryan) and the Horizon Awards Professional Sports Organization of the Year in 2002, the Twins organization continues committed to the highest standard of excellence on and off the field.
