Why was TwinsFest moved from the Metrodome?
TwinsFest When the Metrodome roof collapsed on December 12th, repairs were expected to take just a few days. However, the damage was more significant than originally believed and the Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission notified the Twins that the facility could not be repaired until spring. The Twins explored many alternative locations for TwinsFest and based on availability, accessibility and total square footage determined the National Sports Center in Blaine provided the best venue for fans. The event will be held in the Sports Hall and Schwan Center.

What is the National Sports Center? Where is it located?
The National Sports Center is the world's largest amateur sports and meeting facility. The complex is located in Blaine, Minnesota, approximately 25 minutes north of both Minneapolis and Saint Paul. The Twins partner with the National Sports Center to host a series of youth baseball training camps and clinics.

Will TwinsFest change in its new location?
TwinsFest will be the same great event that fans have come to expect since 1989. More than 60 current, former and future players will participate in autograph sessions and photo stations. However, the facilities at the National Sports Center are smaller than the Metrodome. This may require a reduction in some interactive activities and memorabilia vendors. Will the hours of TwinsFest remain the same?
Yes. The hours for TwinsFest will be:
Friday, January 28 4:00 - 9:30 pm
Saturday, January 29 9 am - 6 pm
Sunday, January 30 9 am - 4 pm

Will there be a revision in ticket prices?
Tickets to TwinsFest will remain $9 for adults and $5 for children 14 and under.

I've already purchased tickets to TwinsFest but would prefer not to attend the event now that it has moved. Can I get a refund?
Fans who have purchased tickets and would like a refund may contact the Twins by calling (612) 33-TWINS or (800) 33-TWINS.

Can I purchase tickets at the door?
It's expected that tickets will sell-out prior to the event. As a result, tickets will NOT be sold at the door during TwinsFest.

Where will I park at the National Sports Center?
There is plentiful FREE parking at the National Sports Center.

Will TwinsFest move back to the Metrodome next year?
The future of TwinsFest at the Metrodome is based on the future of the facility itself. The Twins will consider all options following TwinsFest 2011 and announce the 2012 location as soon as possible.
