1991 World Series Champions 20th Anniversary
1991 was a magical season for the Minnesota Twins, with the team winning its second World Series title in franchise history. It was perhaps the most unlikely World Series matchups ever, as the Twins and Braves became the first two teams in Major League Baseball history to go from last to first in the span of one season. During an epic seven-game battle, a number of Twins heroes emerged with the Twins winning all 4 home games and thus, the series. The Minnesota Twins and CenturyLink plan to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the 1991 World Series Championship during the Aug. 5 - 7 series against the Chicago White Sox. Check this page for updated plans and commemorative memorabilia to celebrate this historic milestone.
