Twins Wives Organization
The Minnesota Twins Wives Organization generously gives their time to support and raise funds for charitable causes each year.
The group, made up of Twins players' and coaches' wives, and fiancées, raises money throughout the year for organizations that help and support families and children.
Key events in 2008
From their Ball-In-A-Bag fundraisers and Twins tank tops to participating in Herberger's Wine, Women and Baseball events and Race for the Cure on Mother's Day, the Twins Wives Organization is actively involved in raising funds for local charities within the Twin Cities community. Every month throughout the season, the wives have activities going on at the ballpark.
Here is a list of the activities scheduled so far for 2008. Details will follow as events get closer!
Twins Wives Tank Tops

Twins tank tops will be sold for $25 at several games during the season – in black, red and navy, sizes XS to XL
Ball-in-A-Bag Fundraiser
The Twins Wives Organization will be selling baseballs autographed by members of the 2008 Twins at several games throughout the 2008 season. The fans will randomly choose from a selection of brown paper bags, each containing an autographed baseball from one of the 2008 Twins players and coaches. The cost is $30 per bag, and the money raised from this fundraiser will be donated at the end of the season to local charities designated by the Twins Wives Organization.
Twins Wives Favorite Things
As part of the remainder of the Wine, Women and Baseball events, raffle tickets will be sold for two baskets with items the wives noted as their favorite things. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Winners will be announced after the final Wine, Women and Baseball event – the winner does not need to be present to win.
Players' Favorite Things
For the second year, the wives and significant others will put together baskets of the Twins players and coaches. Raffle tickets will be sold for $5 each of 5 for $20 from May 31 through Autograph Party on June 21. The winners will be announced after Autograph Party weekend. The winners do not need to be present to win.
Race for the Cure
More than 35 Twins wives, moms, mothers-in-law and grandmothers will participate in the Twin Cities Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 11.
Stitch n' Pitch
The members of the Twins Wives Organization are knitting and crocheting items to donate to local area shelters and they need your help! The wives will be accepting knitted and crocheted donations (caps, scarves, mittens or sweaters) from fans at Stitch n' Pitch on Sunday, July 20.
