The Minnesota Twins Wives Organization is a group comprised of the wives or fiancés of Minnesota Twins players and coaches. Each year the Wives Organization works to support local organizations dedicated to helping families and children in the greater-Minnesota area.
During the year, the wives participate in a wide variety of events throughout Twins Territory including Bachman's Wine, Women and Baseball, cookie decorating at Gillette Children's Hospital, the Southside Life Care Center Walk-for-Life, Armed Services Appreciation Day, and youth programs with Kaleidoscope Place.
In addition to the donation of their time, the members of the Wives Organization are actively involved in raising funds to support local charities by sponsoring the Ball-In-A-Bag fundraiser and by selling Twins tank tops at various home games during the season. This year the wives also sponsored the "My Memorabilia" online auction in conjunction with the Minnesota Twins Autograph Party to raise money for local area charities.

Dakota Woodlands provides short term housing and education opportunities for homeless women and children while helping them establish a more secure future. Their "Flying Home" event in October helps to raise funds and awareness. As part of this event, birdhouses are decorated and sold for charity in a silent auction. The Minnesota Twins Wives Organization supports Dakota Woodlands by donating decorated birdhouses and gift packages to be purchased during the silent auction.
Cheerful Givers
While their husbands were playing the Indians on September 14th, some of the Minnesota Twins' wives were busy filling birthday bags with toys they purchased earlier in the day on behalf of Cheerful Givers nonprofit group. Claudia Cuddyer, wife of first baseman and outfield Michael Cuddyer, helped organize the group with a shopping spree at Target in the morning and gift-bag assembly at the Metrodome during the game. The birthday bags are being distributed by Second harvest Heartland to shelters and food shelves throughout Minnesota for parents who can't afford to give their child a birthday gift. As a result of their efforts, 128 less fortunate kids will receive birthday bags. Cheerful Givers is an Eagan-based nonprofit.
