The Minnesota Twins Summer Reading Program presented by Cub Foods and General Mills encourages children to read during the summer months by providing rewards based on the number of minutes read.
All children, ages 14 and under in the Upper Midwest (MN, IA, WI, ND, SD) are encouraged to join in the fun.
Rewards will be awarded based on the total number of minutes read during the summer months in 400, 800 and 1,200 minute increments.
200 lucky readers in the 1,200 minute category will be randomly chosen to participate in a player Q & A session.
Visit Cub Foods for information on how to get your summer reading pack including a scorecard to help you track your minutes! (While supplies last.)
The Minnesota Twins will select the winners from all the eligible entries submitted in a random drawing on or before August 25,2010 in Minneapolis, MN. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Limit one (1) entry per child. Entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and by the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all aspects. Winners will be notified by phone or mail. Winners may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and release within 14 days of notification. In the event of non-compliance with these requirements, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. If prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. The prize is defined as a Q & A session with Twins Justin Morneau (player subject to change; prize may be substituted subject to elements out of the control of the Minnesota Twins i.e. game cancellation or delay due to weather). An eligible entry is defined as a completed 2010 Twins Reading Program scorecard showing read minutes totaling 1200 or greater.
