Program Summary
The Twins Community Fund's Youth Baseball and Softball Camp Scholarship program will distribute scholarships of $100 - $500 for economically-disadvantaged Upper Midwest youth to attend a baseball or softball instructional camp.
The Twins Community Fund and its grant programs are supported in part by cornerstone partners Target, Treasure Island, Best Buy, and US Bank.
Administration
The Youth Baseball and Softball Camp Scholarship program will be administered by Twins Community Fund staff who review all applications, pay scholarships, work with scholarship recipients and camp administrators, and maintain program records.
Eligibility
The program is open to any Upper Midwest youth involved in an organized youth baseball or softball program. Applicants must include a personal statement and recommendation from their coach and/or head of their recreation league. Scholarships are based on financial need.

Application Process/Schedule
Applicants must complete an application and submit required documents. During 2011, applications will be accepted and reviewed throughout the year until all funds are distributed. Final grant determinations will be made by the Twins Community Fund Board of Directors.
Applications must be complete and sent through the mail. Faxed/e-mailed applications are not accepted.
