The Heart of Twins Territory

Key Community Partnerships

The Minnesota Twins support more than 2,500 non-profits each year with grants, in-kind donations, pregame ceremonies, player appearances, game tickets, as well as many more varied ways. We believe that our commitment to our community is paramount to our success as an organization. However, in addition to the wide-spread support we give each year, we would like to focus more of our support towards four organizations within four, distinct categories.

The Minnesota Twins Key Community Partners will be four, non-profit organizations that do work in the following areas/fields: Education; Sports for persons with disabilities; Inner-city youth; and the Downtown-East Neighborhood. The partners will receive a large amount of support from the ball club in the following ways:

1. Fundraising Support - We will work with each organization to utilize Twins' games, hospitality areas, and promotion to assist with fundraising for these organizations

2. Awareness - We will utilize Twins' pregame ceremonies, television and radio partners, web, and other media to create awareness for the organization and their relationship with the Twins

3. Fan Education - We will utilize in-stadium promotional means to educate fans on each organization and how fans may get more involved with these groups.

4. Player Involvement

5. Volunteerism - We will attempt to organize at least one volunteer opportunity for front office staff for each organization

The following are the Key Community Partners:
