Program Guidelines
Program Summary
The Minnesota Twins Community Fund will distribute grants of $100 - $1,000 to assist youth baseball and softball organizations increase the number of youth participating in Upper Midwest baseball and softball leagues. Grants will be awarded to organizations with innovative programs designed to increase participation in youth baseball and softball. During 2006, $5,000 is available for distribution for this program.
Administration
The program is open to any Upper Midwest or Southwest Florida non-profit organization or local government entity that operates youth baseball or softball leagues. Requesting organizations must outline their program in detail and implement it within one year.

Application Process/Schedule
Organizations must complete an application and submit other required documents. Applications will be accepted and reviewed throughout the year until grant funds have been exhausted. Grant determinations will be made by the Twins Community Fund Board of Directors.
Applications must be complete and sent via US mail. Faxed/emailed applications are not accepted.
Other Requirements Organizations receiving grants must:
- Complete a final report with final financial summary indicating how grant funds were spent; and
- Recognize the grant contribution in some form to the public.
