Play Ball! Minnesota and the Minnesota Twins Community Fund are proud to present the Play Ball! Minnesota Coaches Award.
The Play Ball! Minnesota Coaches Award honors youth baseball and softball coaches who work to provide a positive youth athletic experience for their players.
Candidates For The Play Ball! Minnesota Coaches Award Must:

- Model and teach respect for teammates, opponents, officials, and game rules
- Promote and support good sportsmanship by players, parents and coaches
- Help players develop important values by rewarding effort, good citizenship and fair play
- Share enthusiasm for the game of baseball/softball
Award Criteria
Coaching youth baseball and softball should be as much about developing positive character traits as it is about teaching the fundamentals of baseball/softball or creating winning teams.
