Fifteen's 5K

FIFTEEN'S 5K - August 17, 2014

Twin Cities In Motion and the Minnesota Twins are teaming up with Twins relief pitcher, number 15, Glen Perkins and his wife Alisha for the third annual Fifteen's 5K, a fun event to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Join Glen, Alisha and the Minnesota Twins players for a great race and a game at Target Field, where everyone finishes on Target Field!

The entry fee includes one (1) game ticket to one of the weekend games August 15 - 17 vs. the Kansas City Royals. Participants can purchase up to three (3) additional tickets. All fees are not refundable and race numbers are not transferable. No refunds or exchanges on game tickets. Game tickets will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and will be located in the Home Run Porch View.

Your registration includes:

  • Short-sleeve t-shirt (available in male and female sizing)
  • One (1) ticket to the Minnesota Twins vs. Kansas City Royals game* (and an opportunity to purchase 3 additional tickets)
  • Finisher Medal
  • Finish Line Food and Beverages
  • Lasting memories!

Twins Ticket Requests:
During registration you will have an opportunity to receive up to four (4) tickets. Your registration includes one (1) Twins ticket and you have the option to purchase up to three (3) additional tickets at an extra cost of $15.75 per ticket.

Grouping Ticket Requests:
Do you want to sit together as a group at the baseball game? During the registration process, you will have the opportunity to Create a Group or Join a Group.

  • Create Group - Invite others to join your group as participants. Remember your group Name and Password, it will be your responsibility to send this information to the other members of your group.
  • Join Group - Group name and password is required. Your group leader is responsible for sending you the group name and password.
  • NOTE - If you are joining an existing group, be sure to select the same game day as your Group Captain has selected.

Field Limit:
Online registration is available until August 13 at 11:59 p.m. or until the field limit has been reached. If the field limit has not been reached, in-person registration will be available for $46 during packet pick-up on August 15 and 16 and on race day.

Course:
The race starts at 8:00 a.m. on S 2nd Street, near Gold Medal Park, and winds its way through downtown Minneapolis, finishing inside Target Field! Due to the baseball game scheduled on the day of the race, walkers must be able to maintain a 20-minute mile pace. The finish line and entrance into the stadium will be closed at this time. Course is subject to change.

Game Ticket Information:
If you've registered before August 4, game ticket(s) will be mailed to you by the Minnesota Twins starting the week of August 4, 2014. Please ensure that the address you use for your registration is the address to which you would like your tickets sent. Race registrations that happen on August 4 and after will not include a baseball ticket. If you have ticket questions please contact Phil McMullen at philmcmullen@twinsbaseball.com.

Clocks & Timing:
Fifteen's 5K is a fun run. The race is not chip timed but a clock will be set up at the finish line.

Saturday, August 16 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

Race Day
Sunday, August 17 beginning at 7:00 a.m. near the start line on S 2nd Street near Gold Medal Park.
Please allow enough time to pick up your race packet and return to your car, if needed. The race start is at 8:00 a.m.

Swag:
Each pre-registered runner will receive a short-sleeve t-shirt. All finishers will receive a collectible finisher's medal.
