Lunds and Byerly's Soup to Comfort Twins Fans
03/24/2010 3:04 PM ET

The Minnesota Twins and Target Field food service partner Delaware North Companies Sportservice today announced the popular Lunds and Byerly's Wild Rice Soup will be served at Target Field.

The soup is chef-crafted by the hometown grocer using Minnesota-grown wild rice, a chef's roux and fresh vegetables. It is Lunds and Byerly's most requested recipe.

"Nothing says Minnesota like a bowl of wild rice soup," said Twins President Dave St. Peter. "We think fans at Target Field will really appreciate the menu addition, especially on any chilly game days."

St. Peter praised the new partnership and said Lunds and Byerly's is now the official soup of the Minnesota Twins.

"This is yet another of the many great Minnesota culinary concepts we are offering at Target Field," St. Peter said.

The soup will be available at the three Halsey's Sausage Haus concession stands operated by Sportservice at Target Field.
