09/02/2009 10:54 AM ET
The Minnesota Twins will preview their new home, Target Field, in 2010 with a two-game exhibition series against the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday, April 2 and Saturday, April 3. Specific game times will be announced at a later date.

"The Twins organization is proud to announce plans to host the St. Louis Cardinals in a two-game exhibition at Target Field," Twins President Dave St. Peter said. "The Cardinals are one of baseball's most storied franchises and a tremendous opponent as we introduce Target Field to our fans."

Full-season ticket holders will have both Cardinals exhibition games - with partial plans having one exhibition game - included in their 2010 Twins Season Ticket packages at substantially discounted prices as compared with regular season games. Single-game and group tickets for April 2-3 will be similarly discounted and go on sale in the near future.

The Cardinals exhibition series at Target Field will follow the Twins annual Grapefruit League schedule. The Twins preliminary 2010 regular season schedule will be announced September 15 with the 2010 spring training schedule announced in November.

Season tickets for the 2010 season at Target Field are now available at twinsbaseball.com or by calling 612-33-TWINS or 1-800-33-TWINS.
