Guests are welcome to bring bags, backpacks and purses into Great American Ball Park provided their dimensions do not exceed the 16" x 16" x 8" Major League Baseball size requirement. Bags, backpacks and purses are subject to inspection prior to entrance to the ballpark or at any time while inside the ballpark by Reds personnel.
Reds batting practice begins 2 ½ hours prior to game time and the visiting team hits 1 ½ hours before the scheduled start. Please note, teams do not take batting practice before every game.
The Machine Room Grille opens 3 hours prior to game time for all guests with a ticket to that days game. This area may be reserved for a private event and not open to the public. Please visit reds.com/restaurants for updated information.
Great American Ball Park Cash is sold in $10 increments. The vouchers are good for food, beverages and merchandise purchased at the ballpark OR you can choose Added Value ($AV) to load any increment onto your ticket; This money lives in the barcode and the barcode gets scanned at the concession stands. Call Group Sales at (513) 765-7600 to buy these certificates or for further information.
Guests purchasing 20 or more tickets through the Group Sales Department receive a complimentary scoreboard message, subject to approval by the Reds. Messages must be given to your group sales representative no less than 48 hours prior to game day. Messages are limited to two lines with 25 characters and spaces per line.
The Crosley Room and the Sharp Business Systems Conference Center offer an ideal location for pregame meetings for groups of 20-90. Conduct business with your Guests before a Reds game in one of our conference rooms, then stay to enjoy the game. Contact (513) 765-7065 to reserve your meeting space. Reds players frequently sign autographs before each game when time and Major League Baseball regulations permit. However, we cannot guarantee autograph opportunities will be available. Guests are welcome to seek autographs from players along the railing between sections 111-113 and 133-135 up to 45 minutes prior to game time, or until the end of batting practice, whichever comes first. Guests will then be asked to return to their ticketed seating areas. Please be considerate by not inconveniencing Guests seated in the autograph locations.
Umbrellas are permitted in the ballpark. For the safety and consideration of your fellow fans please do not open your umbrella in crowded areas.
Guests may drop off tickets for members of their group at the paid Will Call windows located at the Main Ticket Office at Crosley Terrace. When dropping off tickets you will be required to fill out individual envelopes for each guest. Will Call windows are open 90 minutes prior to game time. Tickets that need to be picked up prior to your game date should be left in the Advance Will Call also located at the Main Ticket Office. A photo ID is required to pick up any tickets at Will Call.
The Reds welcome banners and signs that adhere to the following guidelines:
Please do not place banners/signs in the eyesight of the batter and/or hanging over the outfield fences or anywhere inside the playing field. Banners should in no way infringe on the sightlines of other Great American Ball Park Guests. Banners/signs may not be commercial, political, derogatory or obscene as determined by the Reds. Signs must not utilize wood or metal material or other types of objects for support and may only be affixed with string or plastic ties. The Reds recommend that banners and signs be foldable or collapsible in order to comply with the 16 x 16 x 8 Major League Baseball size requirement. The Reds reserve the right to remove any banner/sign.
Glass bottles and cans are not permitted into Great American Ball Park. Guests are welcome to bring in soft drinks and water provided they are in clear plastic bottles and the safety seal has not been broken. Insulated foam cups/containers from restaurants, convenience stores or gas stations, etc. are not permitted in Great American Ball Park. No alcoholic beverages of any kind may be brought into the ballpark. Violators will be subject to ejection.
Fans may bring their own food with them to the game. However, no food or beverages may be brought into hospitality areas. The containers for the food must not exceed the 16" x 16" x 8" Major League Baseball size requirement.
The Fire Marshall requires guests sitting in the outfield seating sections 101-106, 140-146, 401-406, Power Alley Patio, the Cincinnati Bell Riverboat Deck, the Cincinnati Bell Technology Pavilion, and Budweiser Bullpen Decks to evacuate from these areas immediately after the end of the game. All restrooms in these locations will be locked at the top of the ninth inning to ensure that ballpark officials can evacuate these areas quickly at the conclusion of the game. Restrooms along the first and third base concourses will remain open.
A portion of Mehring Way stretching from Old Broadway to the Mehring Way Garage Entrance will be closed to pedestrian and vehicular traffic at the end of the seventh inning and will not re-open until approximately one hour after the conclusion of the fireworks show.
Guests are welcome to bring SOFT-SIDED coolers into Great American Ball Park provided the coolers dimensions do not exceed the16" x 16" x 8" Major League Baseball size requirement. HARD-SIDED coolers of any size are prohibited from entering the ballpark. Coolers and all Carry-In items are always subject to inspection by Reds personnel prior to entrance to the ballpark or at any time while inside the ballpark.
Great American Ball Park has been designated as a completely non-smoking facility under Ohio Revised Code Chapter 3794. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside of Great American Ball Park however, they are permitted to exit and re-enter for the purpose of smoking via the re-entry gate near the front entrance of the ballpark. Violators may be subject to ejection and potential fines.
Guests in need of a wheelchair transport can make their request to the nearest Cincinnati Reds Event Staff Employee, either of the two Fan Accommodation Stations located at Sections 119 (near Gappers Alley) and 420 or at any of the First Aid Stations located near Sections 109, 127 or 409.
During baseball season the Team Shop is open 7 days a week. The store is open on game days from 10 a.m. until one hour after the game ends. For non-game days the store is open from 10 a.m.5 p.m.
The Reds Hall of Fame and Museum is open when the Reds are home from 10 a.m.8 p.m. for night games and 10 a.m. until 2 hours after the end of afternoon games. Groups attending a game may purchase discounted museum tickets for $4 each when buying in advance of their game date. Please ask your Group Representative for additional details.
